COZY, BEAUTIFUL, AND ALWAYS WORTH THE STOP Otto’s Coffee, tucked inside The Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas, is absolutely incredible. Sure, the prices are a little high, but you also know what you are getting when you walk into the coffee shop of a beautiful downtown hotel. More importantly, the experience consistently delivers. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Otto’s. It is cozy, inviting, and has plenty of space to sit down and work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy your coffee. You can also grab your drink and walk over to the AT&T Discovery District, or take it upstairs and enjoy the absolutely gorgeous lobby of The Adolphus. The menu is surprisingly extensive. There are plenty of coffee options, teas, refreshers, and seasonal drinks that change throughout the year. I have worked my way through quite a few of them at this point and have really enjoyed what I have tried. They also have a refrigerated section with a variety of bottled and canned drinks, along with a great selection of baked goods that I have happily delved into a few times as well. This historic building is wonderful and brought me joy. I love a great hot ham and cheese sandwich and don't often see Croque Monsiuer on a menu. It was a wonderful treat. Equally as exciting was seeing real cane sugar Dr. Pepper available.

Literally the best drinks we have ever had! Not exaggerating. We got the banana fosters latte, strawberry shortcake, Matcha, and strawberry açai refresher. Absolutely amazing! Ale and Edgar are the best baristas! So welcoming and friendly! Made our day 100x better! If I could give them 100 stars I would!

We came here for breakfast while staying downtown, walkable from the hotel which was a big plus. I would not recommend driving here, parking is a nightmare. Walk if you can. Coffee was decent, nothing to rave about. My cappuccino was served in a paper cup which I was not thrilled about. We were eating inside, not taking anything to go. Paper cups influence the flavor of a hot espresso and I drink mine with no sweeteners specifically because I want to taste the actual shot. The espresso was also slightly burnt, which tells me the machine needs a good cleaning. Iced coffee is a different story but for hot cappuccinos, ceramic makes a real difference. My husband's coffee was good though and he was happy with his. Breakfast sandwiches were the toaster style, similar to what you'd expect from a place without a full kitchen. I genuinely enjoyed mine. My husband was not impressed by his. Overall it was a good enough time. We would not go out of our way to come back but if we were in the downtown area and needed a reliable spot in a pinch, we would stop in again. P.S. 12/25-we were looking for a breakfast place in downtown Dallas. This guy on the street had coffee and directed us to Otto’s. The vibe is so nice 1920s industrial decor — 10/10. I don’t know their names but the young man and the young lady with the short black hair were soooooo nice, patient and courteous as we were getting orders from the rest of our relatives over the phone. We ordered waffles and they ran out the young man went above and beyond to get waffles from the hotel kitchen. That’s what call superior customer service!! Thank you made the visit very memorable 😊🤩
